Douglas has 20+ years of experience in the medical device field. Including academic research and multi-national corporate R&D, as well as key roles in three previous start-ups, where he was involved in founding and commercialization. Douglas has 15+ years’ experience in active implantable devices and 5+ years in vitro diagnostics and pharmaceuticals. Doug has led engineering, R&D, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory functions at the VP and director level, taking products from inception to market. He holds nine patents in the biomedical field. Doug is a published author with a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS & PhD in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering.
Dr. Brunvand completed his residency at the University of Colorado prior to a fellowship in Immunology at the Laboratory of Immunoregulation at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. He is the co-founder of the Unrelated Donor Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Programs at Oregon Health Sciences University and also of the Rocky Mountain Blood & Marrow Transplant Program/Colorado Blood Cancer Institute (CBCI). He is currently a practicing transplant physician at CBCI and on the board of ZenVault, a secure, cloud-based medical records company.
Sacha is a digital marketing expert with a wireless med device focus. He has over 10 years experience leading cross-functional marketing teams for high tech companies. He started his career at Manhattan Center Studios in New York City where he co-founded his first marketing agency. He's an inspiration for the millennial generation.
